The Ways of the Woman
A Women's Retreat Exploring
Mind, Body, Land, Expression, Craft & Ritual
November 13th-16th 2026
Real County, Texas
Come Home to Yourself…
There is a wisdom that lives within every woman.
A wisdom remembered through movement, through stillness, through the land beneath our feet, through creative expression, and through the company of other women.
The Ways of the Woman is an invitation to slow down and return to what has always been within you.
There is a wisdom that lives within every woman.
There was a time when women learned from one another around kitchen tables, beside fires, on long walks through the woods, and with their hands in the soil.
Knowledge was shared through stories, through craft, through movement, through tending the land and caring for one another.
While our lives may look different today, the longing for those rhythms remains.
The Ways of the Woman is a weekend devoted to slowing down, reconnecting with our bodies, creating with our hands, and remembering that healing doesn't always happen in a therapy room. Sometimes it happens while stirring a pot of soup, crafting an herbal remedy, laughing around a fire, or simply sitting quietly beneath the trees.
To remember that she belongs…not because of what she produces, but simply because she is here.
The Ways of the Woman is an invitation to return to yourself.

The Journey
Every experience throughout the weekend has been intentionally designed around our seven pillars:
Mind • Body • Land • Expression • Craft • Ritual • Community
Together, they create a weekend that gently guides you back to yourself.
-
Opening Circle & Welcome Tea
Our weekend begins slowly with tea, intention setting, and an opening circle as we settle into the space, connect with one another, and create the container we'll share throughout the weekend.
-
Guided Hypnosis & Sound Meditation
A deeply restorative hypnosis experience accompanied by crystal singing bowls, designed to quiet the nervous system, release the outside world, and gently welcome you into the retreat.
-
Candlelit Morning Yoga & Meditation
Wake gently each morning through yoga, breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement as we greet the day with presence instead of urgency.
Suitable for every level.
-
A Seasonal Pumpkin Curry Workshop
Food has always been one of the ways women have cared for their families and communities.
Together we'll prepare Andrea's pumpkin curry while sharing stories, learning practical kitchen skills, and experiencing the simple joy of creating a nourishing meal with our own hands.
You'll leave with the recipe to recreate at home.
-
Crafting Seasonal Herbal Tinctures
Working with herbs traditionally associated with the autumn season, you'll learn the foundations of folk herbalism while creating your own handcrafted herbal tincture to take home.
As your tincture continues steeping in the weeks after the retreat, it becomes a beautiful reminder that healing often continues long after we return home.
-
Nature Walk & Seasonal Plant Exploration
We'll slow our pace and wander the land together, learning to notice the gifts of the season.
If conditions allow and the property permits, we'll respectfully gather seasonal herbs and botanicals to incorporate into our herbal creations while learning simple principles of ethical harvesting and plant relationship.
-
A Seasonal Nature Craft
Celebrate the beauty of autumn by creating your own seasonal wreath using dried flowers, grasses, vines, seed pods, and other natural materials.
A handcrafted keepsake to carry a little piece of the season home with you.
-
Movement becomes medicine when we stop trying to perform.
Through guided somatic movement, breath, and nervous system regulation, we'll reconnect with sensation, confidence, softness, and the innate wisdom of the body.
-
Intro to Pole & Sensual Floorwork
As evening falls, we'll gather for a playful introduction to sensual movement, floorwork, and beginner-friendly pole.
Designed for every body and every experience level, this workshop is about curiosity, confidence, expression, and reconnecting with the joy of movement—not performance.
-
A Remembrance Ritual
Autumn has long been a season of harvest, gratitude, and remembrance.
Together we'll create a communal ancestral altar to honor the people, traditions, and stories that have shaped us.
Guests are invited to bring a small photograph, heirloom, or meaningful object as we reflect on what has been passed down, what we're choosing to carry forward, and the legacy we're creating for future generations.
-
Clay, Candlelight & Self-Care Ritual
Before returning home, we'll devote an evening to slowing down.
Clay face masks, herbal tea, nourishing oils, candlelight, soft music, and meaningful conversation become a reminder that caring for ourselves can be both simple and sacred.
-
Music, Storytelling & Connection
As the sun sets, we'll gather around the fire for music, storytelling, laughter, reflection, and the kinds of conversations that only happen when there's nowhere else to be.
Join us in the Texas Hill Country
in Real County, TX on the Frio River
Tucked away on 90 private acres in the Texas Hill Country, our home for the weekend sits beneath century-old oak trees overlooking the hills and waters of the Frio River country.
We'll have space to wander, rest, gather around the fire, create on the patios, and follow the trails down toward the crystal-clear, spring-fed Frio River. The land is alive with whitetail deer, wild turkey, songbirds, old oaks, cedar, native plants, and the quiet beauty that makes this part of Texas feel so special.
The home itself gives us the best of both worlds: plenty of wild space to explore, with beautiful indoor accommodations, spacious patios, soaking tubs, a large communal kitchen, and cozy places to gather when the November evenings get cool.
Throughout the weekend, we'll treat the land as more than a backdrop to our retreat. We'll walk gently, forage only where appropriate and permitted, leave what we don't need, and practice gratitude for the place holding us.
We also acknowledge that the Frio Canyon and present-day Real County hold a much older Indigenous history. Tonkawa peoples inhabited this region, and Lipan Apache and Comanche peoples later lived in and traveled through these lands. We honor the generations of Indigenous people who knew these rivers, canyons, plants, and wildlife long before us.
For a few days, we get to call this beautiful place home. Our intention is to enjoy it deeply, care for it well, and leave it with the same respect with which we hope to enter it.
Getting Here

Meet Your Facilitators
Andrea Womack
Andrea Womack is a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Tantra Yoga teacher, sound healing facilitator, Performance Artist and women's retreat leader with nearly a decade of experience guiding transformational experiences. With a background in psychology, Body Work Training with A Tibetan Shaman & embodiment practices, meditation, and subconscious healing, she blends hypnosis, somatic awareness, movement, and sound to help women reconnect with confidence, self-trust, sensuality, and authentic expression.
Rooted in years of experience in Tantra, embodiment work, and shamanic healing practices, Andrea's approach bridges the sacred and the practical, helping women reconnect to the wisdom of the body in grounded and accessible ways.
After becoming a mother, Andrea stepped away from many of the roles and identities that had once defined her ….moved across the country & started practicing hunting, fishing, living off the land & choosing an authentic life of sustainability. Through that season, she discovered a deeper calling…not to return to who she once was, but to integrate every part of herself into something more authentic.
The Ways of the Woman was born from that journey.
Asheray Garcia
Asheray is a Houston-raised multidisciplinary artist, movement facilitator, maker, and ceremonial practitioner with more than 12 years of experience performing, teaching, and creating across the country.
Known through much of her artistic work as Mystic Lotus, her world lives at the intersection of movement, creativity, spirituality, and play. Her experience spans dance, pole, aerial arts, fire and LED performance, yoga, sound healing, energy work, Tantra, and intentional ceremony.
Kink has also been a meaningful part of Asheray's journey for many years, evolving into a deeper exploration of embodiment, trust, sensual expression, Tantra, and the ways we discover ourselves when given permission to move beyond the expected.
Her creativity extends far beyond performance. Asheray has spent years working with herbs and exploring their spiritual properties within her personal practice. A natural maker, she has explored textile and cloth arts, jewelry making, herbal creations, and other forms of handcraft that keep her connected to creativity and the joy of making something tangible.
Across multiple states, she has held space at retreats, gatherings, and events through movement, intentional ceremony, sound healing, and performance. Her training includes RYT Baptiste Yoga, continuing education in aerial arts, Reiki Levels I & II, Violet Flame energy work, sound therapy, and Tantric and embodiment practices.
At The Ways of the Woman, Asheray brings all of these worlds together: the artist, the maker, the practitioner, and the woman behind Lotus. Her invitation is to move, create, play, explore, and give a little more room to the parts of ourselves that everyday life doesn't always make space for.
